Staging of your day

What goes into planning?  A lot of things; from floral arrangements, to color scheme, food and beverages etc, but the one thing that really pulls it together?  LAYOUT.  Layout of your ceremony and reception is a huge undertaking.  You might have a vision of what it will look like but how will the staging staff see it?  This is why diagrams of your venues (Ceremony hall and Reception) is so crucial to your overall staging of your event.  Make sure your cordinator or venue staff provide you with the correct diagram.  This will be the blue print to your day.  Once everyone is on the same page it will make the staging a lot easier.  All floral, lighting and staging vendors should have a copy.  The diagrm will help each vendor address any concerns they may have with the space.

So where did I get the diagram above?  You can get one at  Make sure you have the correct measurements of your space and input as needed.  You can usually get the measurements of your space on your venue’s website (hotel or banquet hall).  Check us out at and contact us if you need further assistance or guidance on your day.
