Asian Wedding Traditions

There are many traditions couples like to keep as part of their wedding to honor their parents and religion.  We’ve been a part of a few of those traditions from Indian weddings, Jewish Weddings and Asian Weddings.

K & S Events have done a few Traditional Asian Weddings and each time we’ve been apart of one, we realized how different they are.  The one tradition we’ve seen most is the Tea Ceremony.  More modern couples are opting to do a smaller ceremony held in a hotel room at their venue but some stay true to their traditions and the tradition starts with the Groom’s family going over to the Bride’s family to gift offerings for their daughter’s hand and marriage.

Chau and Victor incorporated their Traditional Asian Tea Ceremony and then did another ring exchange ceremony on a beautiful golf course in San Gabriel Valley.  They’ve even hired Dragon Dancers!!! Check out their full album in our Event Gallery.
